A Dollop of Sour Cream

I'm not much into spicy food. I have recently discovered that if a meal is just a tad too spicy for me, I can put sour cream on top and make it not just palatable, but wonderful. This blog is devoted to doing the same for life.

What if you discovered your baby was switched in the hospital?

Your (biological) baby was taken home by someone else and you had someone else's baby.

This happened, 10 months ago, in Czech. The article is Here

Already -- if I discovered Obed was not ours, I can not imagine giving him up. But 8 months from now?

This was my nightmare before I went to the hospital and why I made sure my husband kept with the baby until he was tagged. (though at Overlake, thankfully, they don't take the infants out of the room to do anything. That was nice)

Be careful what you ask for...

So a little while ago, I was changing a diaper. We hadn't seen a stool, but had seen indications that Obed was working on it. So there, with him on the changing table, diaper open, I looked at him and said, "I want you to be working on a diaper, all right?"

And he just looked up at me, seeming all cute and innocent...and promptly did.

After everything got cleaned up, the only thing I could say to him was, "Thank you for your prompt obedience."

Pictures

Obed is 2 months old, (95% boy: 13 pounds 8.5 ounces, 25 inches long, and a head circumference of 41.5 cm) and I've finally got some pictures posted!
