A Dollop of Sour Cream

I'm not much into spicy food. I have recently discovered that if a meal is just a tad too spicy for me, I can put sour cream on top and make it not just palatable, but wonderful. This blog is devoted to doing the same for life.

My Thanksgiving this year

I've got a wonderful husband.

On Thursday, He cooked the butterhorns that was our part of Thanksgiving this year. and he let us stay at our friends' house later even though he's allergic to dogs. And cleaned up after himself.

On Friday, he cooked up the turkey we got because 1) We were not sure we were having turkey for Thanksgiving at said friends' house and he loves turkey 2) Turkey is cheap and 3) I loved the after-Thanksgiving turkey soup last year. AND he picked all the bones off the turkey. And cleaned up after himself.

And today, letting me go into work and taking care of the baby all by himself yet again, he made the soup! And another batch of butterhorns for his friends. And cleaned up after himself.

Mmmm...butterhorns. I have no idea what those are but they sound delicious.
